duchamp

You don't make art, you find it.

By showing a urinal as a work of art, Marchel Duchamp offers a paradoxical criticism of the subservience of the object to function; if the Beauty of objects was a result of commercialization, then any common object can be defunctionalized as an object of everyday use and refunctionalized as a work of art.
